Calling all forest-lovers, artists, the craft-curious, and anyone else who wants to spend a Saturday morning painting in Stanley Park! Join us for a bright, beginner-friendly, and nature-themed watercolour workshop as we say goodbye to summer and welcome the autumn season. Our instructor, Jenna Leith, will introduce several basic watercolour techniques, guiding you as you bring tree canopies and forest berries to life on paper.

No prior experience is needed, just curiosity and a love for creativity. All materials are provided, and you’ll leave with finished paintings and skills to continue your watercolour journey at home.

This program will take place at the Stanley Park Pavilion at the Stanley Park Ecology office (610 Pipeline Rd) on the second floor in the Salmonberry Room. Please arrive 5-10 minutes early to check-in.

Terms and Conditions

(1) Registration required - NO DROP-INS ARE ALLOWED. Fees for this program are based on a sliding scale – reduced fees are available for those with financial barriers.

(2) Cancellation policy - We offer partial refunds for program fees up to 14 days before the program. A 20% administration fee applies. Cancellations with less than the required notice are non-refundable. We do not refund fees for late or missed programs. Please request a refund by emailing publiced@stanleyparkecology.ca. You may also choose to support our public education programming by donating your registration fee.

(3) Weather – Rarely, programs may be postponed or cancelled due extreme weather like high winds or extreme heat. We will alert you by email if the program needs to be rescheduled. If the program cannot be rescheduled, refunds will be offered with a 20% administration fee or you may choose to transfer your ticket to another program of the same value.
