LEST WE FORGET TO LAUGH 🍁November 13| Vancouver "Lest We Forget" isn't a statutory holiday in Ontario. Four working comedians know this the way you know your rent is due - quietly, and with resentment. So this November, they're doing what any reasonable adult with a day job would do: stretching a long weekend as far as it'll go, sneaking out of Toronto before their bosses notice, and running an honest-to-god comedy tour up and down the West Coast before anyone can stop them.📍 Vancouver stop: Little Mountain Gallery, Raccoon Room📅 Thursday, Nov 13 - 9:30 PMThe lineup: four comedians, four immigrant backgrounds - Guyana, Ukraine, Lebanon, and Venezuela - united by the shared discovery that starting over in a new country is somehow still less stressful than asking a manager for one extra day off.Expect crowd work, culture clash, immigrant-parent trauma repurposed as premium material, and the low-grade adrenaline of people who could genuinely get fired for this.By the time they fly home on the 15th, either the tour will have been worth it, or four LinkedIn profiles are getting quietly updated. Either way: make sure to check them out and find out how funny they really are - before their bosses do, and before they spend half their Monday catching up on work emails. The front entrance has power assisted doors. There's a powered lift from street level to the main performance space. For more information on the limitations of our lift, please check out our website. The venue has six private washrooms on the main floor, one of which is fully accessible with a power assisted door. The theatre doors to the main space are not power assisted at this time. The second floor is not accessible and is up two flights of stairs.
