Creating Change at City Hall: A Voter Mobilization Workshop Local governments make decisions that impact our lives every single day. From how we move around the city to the services we access, who we elect affects how we experience where we live. In this workshop, we'll learn all about how decisions get made at the local level and why it's so important to engage in the 2026 election cycle and beyond. Join us for an interactive 90 minute session where we'll learn about: The jurisdiction of local government How decisions are made at the local level and ways to influence those decisions Strategies to engage in the election, including voter eligibility and key election dates Creating a voting plan and tips on understanding candidate platforms All community members, voters and non-voters, welcome. Women Transforming Cities (WTC) is a grassroots non-profit that aims to radically shift social, economic and political power to equity-deserving groups to reshape who cities are built by and for so that communities' needs are met and everyone can belong, participate and thrive.
