Vancouver has over six times as many tennis courts as it does basketball courts. Why is that? Join Uytae Lee, host and creator of the popular urbanism film series About Here, for a video debut and panel discussion on the messy forces that shape our recreational spaces, and why some sports struggle to find room in our cities more than others. He will appear in conversation with a panel of city builders and urban recreation experts. - Accessibility: VPL is committed to making our programs accessible for all. If you have an access need that we have not addressed here, please email us at programs@vpl.ca. The video will have captions. Elevator access to the Alice MacKay Room is available in the concourse near the bank machine. There will be designated spaces for wheelchairs and patrons with mobility devices. For more information on physical access, view the Accessibility information on the Central Library page.
