Cleansing the Path: Cedar Medicine, Ancestral Wisdom, and Truth in Action

Reconciliation is more than a concept-it is a physical, emotional, and spiritual practice of coming into right relationship with the land and the one another. Join us for an immersive workshop centered on x̱epáy̓ (Western Red Cedar), known across Coast Salish territories as the Tree of Life. In this gathering, Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw Matriarch Wendy Nahanee will share ancestral teachings on cedar as a sacred provider, protector, and healer. Participants will learn how cedar medicine guides our collective path toward truth and reconciliation, and will be invited to participate in a traditional cedar brush-off ceremony to release heavy energies, clear the mind, and ground the spirit.
