50th Anniversary Celebration: Joe Fortes Branch and West End Community Centre

Join us to celebrate the 50th anniversary of VPL's Joe Fortes Branch and the West End Community Centre, which opened in 1976. Enjoy live music, dancing, readings by local authors, trivia, children's activities and more. Gather with your West End neighbours to honour the community you love so much. The event begins with an Indigenous welcome and opening remarks at 12:00 pm in the Auditorium. Drop in throughout the afternoon to enjoy activities taking place throughout the community centre.
