The Community Arts Council of Vancouver (CACV) is proud to present the 10th Annual Vancouver Outsider Arts Festival (VOAF), taking place October 16-18, 2026 at the Roundhouse Community Arts & Recreation Centre.
VOAF is Canada’s first and only festival focused on “outsider art,” celebrating artists who face social exclusion or barriers to participation in mainstream arts communities. The festival includes artists living with mental health challenges, disabilities, or systemic marginalization, shining a light on perspectives often underrepresented in galleries and performance venues.
Highlights of the 2026 festival include:
● Performances by 7 artists across music, spoken word, and interdisciplinary practices.
● Visual art exhibitions featuring 28 artists at the Roundhouse and 12 artists at the Connection Salon satellite space.
● Community collaboration with 3 partner organizations which are dedicated to advancing inclusive art: Alternative Creations Studio, Connection Salon, and MPA Society.
